I was initially scared by the fact that it is an HP scanner plus a third party (Axis) network server box but read good things about the Axis box when used with other scanners.While it might have been more aesthetically pleasing if the network interface was integrated it works flawlessly as it is.Scanning to e-mail can be done by dropping the document in the feeder, pressing two buttons and then walking away.The web interface is basic but very functional. You can connect a keyboard directly but unless you scan to different e-mail addresses all the time, you will not need it.I was also afraid that double-sided scanning from the feeder would require manual intervention but it doesn't.I have no regrets on this choice. Works great in a small office environment.
